About us...
Marra Homes & Development was founded in 1994 by long time Woodbury resident Ron Marra and is located on historic Main Street of Woodbury, Connecticut. Specializing in building colonials, farm houses, custom homes and capes; Ron Marra has built nearly 50 homes throughout Woodbury, Southbury, Oxford and Middlebury.
Ron was educated at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York where he graduated with a BA/MA with concentrations in Economics, History and Russian Studies. Ron learned the trade of home building while working for a builder and land surveyor early in his career. He built his first home in 1994. As well as building residential homes, Marra Homes & Development built the Salt Shed for the town of Southbury and offers such other services as tiling, light industrial construction, roads, remodeling and complete site work for homes.

As a resident of Woodbury, Ron has devoted much of his time to local charities and organizations. For the past two years, Ron has been the coach of the 4th and 5th grade girl's softball team, which includes two of his four daughters. Marra Homes & Development sponsors the girl's softball team and sponsors the girl's softball pitching clinic.
Over the years, Marra Homes & Development has established strong working relationships with its sub-contractors. Continuing to use only the "best of the best" to ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining the highest quality workmanship is part of the company philosophy. The full-time site supervisor organizes and oversees daily operations at residential building sites, while a full-time office manager handles the everyday administrative duties and offers support in making the operation run smoothly.
Currently, Marra Homes & Development is offering several beautiful sites/homes located in the newest development of Woodbury — Scuppo Hill. With a prime location, this subdivision is minutes away from all major routes and town centers. Scuppo Hill is located just minutes from exit 16 off of Interstate 84.
